MODULA® automatic storage warehouse saves you time and personnel in picking operations: the material is stored inside the drawers of the vertical storage system and traced automatically. The drawers are picked up by an automatic lift and deposited in picking bays. These systems consist of two rows of supports which contain trays that are transported by an automated elevator from the supports to the picking bay.
The elevator moves vertically in the center between the two rows of supports. The high density storage warehouse is controlled by a hardware and software system that is efficient and easy to use.
The new version of the vertical shelves Modula Lift offers:-
- 4 possible combinations of picking bays: internal or external picking bays with either single-level or dual-level delivery.
- Unit height modularity on 200 mm (7.87”) increments.
- Tray storage adjustability providedon 25 mm (0.98”) increments.
- High productivity with over 120 cycles/hour.
- 4 available tray widths ranging between 1,900 mm (74.80”) and 4,100 mm (161.41”) with 2 available tray depths of 654 mm (25.75”) and 857 mm (33.74”).

Single-Level or Dual Level Tray delivery Types
Trays may be delivered to the user at either single lower level, or where required, the second tray in queue is ready and delivered above the lower after picking is complete.

Modula Bay Options
Internal or external picking bays, with single or dual level delivery. Available access port on multiple levels.
The external picking bay provides maximum performance thanks to the ergonomics of the working space and also increases the overall safety level to operators. The external picking bay feature also provides the ability for overhead picking, allowing for the use of external picking aids, such as robotic manipulator arms, cranes, etc. to more ergonomically handle products. The smaller unit footprint required for units with an internal picking bay can further recover valuable floor space if the available area is particularly narrow.
Internal or external picking bay units equipped with dual level tray delivery provide a very high picking speed, eliminating operator wait time between picks and increasing pick rates by about 30%. While the operator is picking product from one tray, the unit automatically retrieves and stages the next requested tray and then delivers it to the second delivery location. Operators are then guided in picking and replenishment operations conveniently by the unit’s colour touchscreen console.

MA – MAD (MORE DETAILS)
The MA version, with 1.900mm wide drawers in depths of 654 or 857mm, is able to stock, with high handling speed many different kinds of materials such as spare parts, bolts and nuts, hardware etc. It is ideal for applications from distribution and retail sale to manufacturing. In fact, while the operator picks from one drawer, the system is retrieving the next drawer in queue. This helps avoids long waiting time between picking. As for the Modula range, the MA version has 3 different possibilities of load capacities: 250, 500 and 750 kg for each drawer, keeping the high performances of speed and managing of inventory.

MC version is equipped with 2.500mm wide drawers in 2 depths, 654 and 857mm. It is the ideal vertical machine for managing high volumes and in the meantime, assures a very high handling speed. The positioning of picking bays can be internal or external and it is possible to have height up to 14m high. As for all Modula models, the MC version gets 3 different loads of charge: 250, 500 and 750 kg for each drawer, keeping high performance of speed and managing inventory.

The MX version, with 3.100mm wide drawers in 2 depths of 654 and 857mm, is able to stock, quickly and efficiently, different kinds of materials such as spare parts, tools, bolts and nuts, hardware etc. Modula MX is characterized by new technological features that allow dynamic drawer managing and a total flexibility in the internal configuration, for example the positioning of picking bays that can be internal or external. It is possible to reach heights up to 14m high. As for all Modula models, it offers 3 different possibilities of load capacities: 250, 500 and 750 kg for each drawer, keeping high the performance of speed and managing of the inventory.
